Research assistant in European and International Economic Law Vollzeit
About us:
The position serves to train young academics and offers the opportunity to pursue a doctorate.
Hanse Law School is a legal training association between Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg and the University of Groningen, Netherlands. It offers an undergraduate Bachelor's programme in Comparative and European Law and a consecutive Master's programme in Law in a Sustainable and Digital Europe (starting in the 2026/27 winter semester).
Your tasks:
- Coordination of bachelor's and master's degree programmes (coordinated planning of semester timetables and examination phases, coordination and amendment procedures for regulations, coordination with university legal departments, advising students, liaison with the admissions office, examination office, 'Study and Teaching' department, International Office, Practionners Advisory Board etc.)
- Teaching in the field of European economic law and comparative law, amounting to 2 LVS
- Support in coordinating between universities (Groningen & Le Havre)
- Networking for the Hanse Law School (alumni association, advisory board, website, publicity materials, etc.).
- Support in acquiring and implementing third-party funded projects
- Organisation of international collaborations and conferences
Your profile:
- A successfully completed university degree in law (Master's/state examination (university)) with a focus on European law and comparative law, and
- Good knowledge of English; Dutch and French are also an advantage
- Strong team and communication skills and a willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
