We are currently seeking a (Senior) Tax Specialist Global Taxes (m/f/d) to join our team at ARIS in Germany.
In this role, you will support our global tax compliance, reporting, advisory, transfer pricing, and tax governance activities.
You will acts as a key business partner to Finance, Legal, Treasury, and international teams, helping to ensure tax compliance while supporting business objectives across multiple jurisdictions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to key global tax processes and projects in an international environment; part-time employment is possible.
Essential Functions
- Ensure compliance with global direct and indirect tax requirements and support tax reporting under IFRS and/or local GAAP.
- Assist with corporate tax filings, tax provisions, and effective tax rate calculations.
- Provide tax support for international transactions, restructurings, supply chain changes, M&A activities, and new business initiatives.
- Maintain and coordinate global transfer pricing policies, documentation, and compliance.
- Support tax audits, tax risk management, governance processes, and the Tax Compliance Management System (Tax-CMS).
- Drive process improvements, standardization, automation, and digital tax initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Ideally 2-5+ years of tax experience in a multinational company, public accounting firm, or tax advisory environment.
- Strong knowledge of international taxation, corporate income tax, indirect taxes, and transfer pricing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong learning agility and a willingness to continuously develop both professionally and personally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international environment.
- Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and across global teams.
- Fluent English and German language skills are required.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with IFRS tax reporting; German GAAP knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP-systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite), Tax Reporting tools (e.g. ETR.WEB, GTC) and advanced Excel skills are desirable.
