Tax Advisor – Corporate / Group / General Tax Advisory

Role Overview
We are hiring a qualified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) to join a growing Tax Advisory team. This role combines client advisory, compliance, and project-based tax consulting with exposure to a diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare annual financial statements and tax returns
- Provide ongoing tax and commercial law advisory to clients
- Participate in tax consulting and advisory projects
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Represent clients during tax audits
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with deadlines
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater exam passed)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax advisory firm
- Strong knowledge of DATEV
- German proficiency: C1 level
- English proficiency: minimum B1
- Structured, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in Corporate Tax, Group Tax, or Tax Advisory
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
- Exposure to international clients
Experience & Tools
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
- DATEV (mandatory)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €75,000 – €115,000 per year
