Join Bird & Bird in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf and strengthen our global pricing team as a Pricing Manager (m/f/d) Legal Services & Legal Tech.

What you’ll find with us

• Partner with senior stakeholders to design innovative pricing methodologies for cutting-edge legal tech solutions that unlock new revenue streams while maintaining healthy margins.
• Develop innovative pricing strategies for AI-powered legal services, including subscription-based, usage-based, and ecosystem monetisation models, in close collaboration with partners and the Head of Legal Tech.
• Create dynamic pricing models and digital templates leveraging data analytics to optimise fee proposals across technology-enabled service offerings.
• Lead strategic responses to complex client RFPs, designing technology-enhanced service packages that differentiate the firm in competitive situations – translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling commercial value for clients.
• Design and implement a data-driven process for post-matter reviews that captures tech utilisation metrics and ROI, creating a feedback loop to continuously refine pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with the financial systems team to develop Power BI dashboards that visualise technology adoption, pricing effectiveness, and revenue stream performance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders – including C-suite and partners – applying a consultative, solution-based approach to identify client needs and position technology-enabled offerings effectively.

What you’ll bring to the table

• Bachelor’s degree with a finance qualification and proven experience in pricing or financial modelling roles.
• Proven experience pricing or selling technology products, SaaS solutions, or tech-enabled professional services (e.g. legal tech, AI, data platforms); subscription- or usage-based pricing experience is a plus.
• Track record of engaging senior stakeholders (e.g. C-suite, partner level) and translating technical capabilities into clear commercial value.
• Experience developing proposals, pricing models, and business cases for technology-enabled offerings, including leading complex RFP responses.
• Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Excel, pricing algorithms, and financial modelling.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German beneficial), with the ability to present complex concepts convincingly to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
• Collaborative, results-focused personality with strategic thinking, attention to detail, and a passion for the intersection of technology and business.
