Here's how you'll make a difference:
- Support and advise headquarters, regional, and local teams on customer-facing transactions, product development, privacy, and AI-related questions.
- Draft, negotiate, and maintain contracts and templates while creating processes that empower business teams to close deals efficiently.
- Provide strategic guidance on privacy compliance and implement legally sound processes for AI usage within the company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify legal risks and offer practical, business-minded solutions.
- Act as a trusted legal partner to enable SoSafe's rapid expansion across Europe and globally.
What makes you a great fit:
- 5+ years' experience as a commercial lawyer or in-house legal counsel within SaaS or Technology
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany or at least one of our regional market jurisdictions
- Strong focus on commercial and/or regulatory law, ideally with experience across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial contracting, privacy, and technology-related legal matters.
- Familiarity with AI-related legal considerations, including advising on AI tools, use cases, policies, or governance.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills-able to solve complex tasks in a legally accurate yet pragmatic and timely manner.
- Excellent communication skills, assertive negotiation style, and confident presence.
- Experience in European business, negotiating agreements governed by different jurisdictions.
- Highly organized, independent, committed, and adaptable to change and challenges.
- Strong business focus and ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Nice to have: Experience with public procurement and tender processes in at least one core jurisdiction.
- Language: Excellent English skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
Location & Work Arrangement
- Candidates applying from Ireland or the UK will work remotely.
- Candidates based in Germany have the option to work remotely from their country or in a hybrid model from our offices in Germany.
