Are you a seasoned finance leader in the Industrials and Manufacturing sector? We are expanding our network of dynamic CFOs and Finance Directors to take on high-impact leadership roles within private equity-backed portfolio companies across the DACH region.
Key responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing finance organization in fast-paced, data-driven environments
- Partner closely with management to steer commercial performance, growth initiatives, and profitability
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and liquidity management, with a strong focus on scalability
- Drive performance management across key e-commerce KPIs (e.g. revenue quality, contribution margins, customer economics)
- Implement and optimize robust reporting structures and real-time dashboards to support decision-making
- Ensure transparent financial steering across multiple sales channels (e.g. D2C, marketplaces, wholesale)
- Strengthen working capital management, including inventory, logistics, and supply chain finance
- Support and challenge marketing and commercial teams on spend efficiency and return metrics
- Lead financial modelling, business planning, and scenario analysis in dynamic growth settings
- Execute M&A transactions and integration initiatives, including platform scaling and buy-and-build strategies
- Shape the equity story and support value creation across the investment lifecycle
- Continuously enhance finance processes, systems, and data infrastructure to enable scalable growth
- Act as key contact for auditors, tax advisors, investors, and other stakeholders
Your profile
- University degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience as a CFO or Finance Director in consumer, e-commerce, or digital business models
- Proven track record in private equity-backed environments is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of commercial drivers, unit economics, and performance marketing dynamics
- Experience in working capital optimization, inventory management, and supply chain finance
- Demonstrated success in M&A and post-merger integration; buy-and-build exposure is a plus
- Strong technical finance expertise across controlling, accounting, and reporting
- Hands-on, pragmatic leader with the ability to operate in dynamic and evolving environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a commercial and data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in German and English
