They are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to take on operational and leadership responsibilities, helping shape the financial foundations of a rapidly expanding business. - Oversee and execute core accounting functions, including regular financial reconciliation
- Prepare and monitor budget plans, providing support in financial planning and budget oversight
- Perform cash flow planning and forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring alignment with investor expectations and company growth goals, as well as external requirements, such as bank and lender standards
- Handle end-of-year audit requirements and liaise with external auditors as needed
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial close procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support IT system transitions and integration with accounting functions to improve financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with outsourced tax and payroll providers to optimise finance-related services
- Prepare and present financial reports to assist senior management in decision-making and operational insights
- Partner with other departments to set up effective cost controls and financial monitoring
- Contribute to developing best practices in financial processes and reporting in a dynamic, growth-focused environment
Who we are looking for
- University degree in finance, economics, business studies or a related discipline
- A few years of professional experience in controlling, accounting, and/or audit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to financial management
- Ability to independently drive projects with self-initiative and accountability
- Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting is beneficial
- Experienced in working with financial systems and accounting software; ERP system experience is a plus
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on, eager to contribute to a growing company
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative work style
- Willingness to work onsite, supporting the team and leadership on a full-time basis
- Fluency in German and English
