With major expansion to our client base and use cases, we are seeking an Analyst to support our clients in the successful deployment of our solution.
The role
As a Private Equity Analyst – Market Intelligence at CEPRES, your primary responsibility is to ensure optimal quality or our primarily sourced Private Market data and obtain valuable insights for our clients, to deliver both general and tailored analysis to satisfy client needs and project plans. You will oversee our data flow from collection to final analysis production, provide hands-on support during client onboarding, deliver training sessions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing client success. In this role, you will have the following key responsibilities:
1. Data Quality Ownership:
- Manage the entire data flow, including data collection, organization, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal quality of our in-house data.
- Conduct on-demand investigations to identify data anomalies and root causes. Understand data observations in the business context and determine best practice resolution.
2. Client Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues, maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction through professional and timely communications and actions.
- Conduct engaging and informative training sessions to equip clients with the skills necessary to effectively use our Market Intelligence products, including the development of training materials and resources to support ongoing learning.
- Provide comprehensive client support for our Market Intelligence products, including introducing our data and quality standards, answering questions about specific analyses and market insights, and delivering custom projects tailored to client needs.
3. Collaboration and Handover:
- Collaborate closely with sales and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to implementation.
- Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between internal teams and clients to drive success post-implementation.
4. Custom Projects:
- Understand client needs and requirements and determine the most accurate and appropriate plan. Perform customized financial modeling in accordance with client methodology requirements and deliver insights and conclusions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Fulfill the role of project manager for data analytics related projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies and time zones. Manage timelines and overall project status to ensure that requirements and project deliverables are clearly communicated (internally and externally), understood, and executed.
5. Product Involvement:
- Be the subject matter expert (SME) for private market knowledge and analytics, supporting our product team in developing features and analytics that best meet our clients' needs.
- Serve as an advocate for our clients in understanding and testing newly developed features and analytics to ensure they meet expectations.
6. Content Creation:
- Develop and produce platform presentations and descriptive documentation (written and digital) for internal and external customers. Regularly update documentation to reflect platform enhancements and changes.
- Produce market research analysis and report documentation based on our internal data to support marketing, publishing, and other purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in solution implementation, integration management, or client support, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and data analysis, especially in the private market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
