Your responsibilities
- Acting as an internal financial due diligence advisor, you'll accompany deals from early stages to closing and beyond and report directly to our Europe Financial due diligence Lead.
- You'll analyze target companies' financial performances and positions and assess the quality of earnings and key operating metrics.
- This will also involve evaluating balance sheet items such as net financial debt and net working capital.
- Our corporate development deal team can count on your advice: on financial risks and commercial topics with implications for negotiating shares purchase agreement – including purchase price adjustment mechanisms – as well as on items requiring commercial or financial integration actions.
What we're looking forward to
- degree in economic sciences, business administration, finance, or a related topic, ideally combined with a CA, ACA, CPA, MBA, or CFA qualification (completed or in the process of completion)
- minimum 2 years' relevant experience – for example in financial due diligence or an audit role – within the M&A Due Diligence department of one of the big four professional services firms or another big corporation
- track record in working on several financial due diligence projects
- in-depth skills in financial analysis and MS Excel and fluency in English and German
